JANA MAE AUTRY
1925 - 2011
On February 6, 2011 the Lord called his servant to sing with the angels eternally. Preceeded in death by her husbands Wesley Whitbeck and Joe Dalmolin Sr., parents Raymond and Celia Autry, son Joe Dalmolin Jr., and stepdaughter Jeri Bennett. Survived by siblings: Paul Autry, Ray Autry and Jeraldine Autry. Children: Janet Lewis, Phil Dalmolin, JoAnn Haywood, Marc Dalmolin. Stepchildren: Angie Peterson, Christine Brown and Steve Dalmolin. Also 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Jana retired from Kelly AFB civil service where she worked as a key punch operator at the dawn of government computers. She also was the first woman salesperson at Tom Benson Chevrolet, hired by Tom Benson himself. Moreover, she was a mother, an accomplished musician/singer ordained in the ministry of Jesus Christ, bringing hope and joy to many others in her lifetime. She helped numbers of homeless folks and provided love and shelter for the needy all her life. Graveside services will be held at Coker Cemetery, Thursday February 10, 2011 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to SAMM ministries, 210-340-0302.
