Mary Louise Billingsley

BILLINGSLEY

Mary Louise Billingsley, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed from this life January 21, 2004 to be with her Lord. Formerly Mary Louise Harvey, she was born in San Antonio, TX on Mother’s Day, May 8, 1938. She attended Jefferson High School where she met her husband of 49 years, James Edward Billingsley. Their children are daughter, Margie Carrillo and husband, David of Midland; son, James and wife, Amy of San Antonio; daughter-in-law, Kim Billingsley of Dripping Springs; and grandchildren, Todd Carrillo and wife, Cassandra of Denver City, Clete Carrillo of San Angelo, and Addison Billingsley and Jordan Billingsley of Dripping Springs. Mary Louise worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 22 years and retired in 1999. She enjoyed a rich life among her family, including an extended family of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She liked to garden, bake, collect antiques, make crafts, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ being a charter member of Hill Country Christian Fellowship in Dripping Springs and more recently Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland. Other survivors include a sister, Jean Schuyler and husband Ray of San Antonio; brothers, Jim Harvey and wife, Patricia of Omaha, NE, Bill Harvey of San Antonio, and Ray Harvey and wife, Gail of San Antonio. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Oak Hills Church, San Antonio.

SATURDAY - 5:00 P.M.
OAK HILLS CHURCH

Paul Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in Coker Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends are invited to join the family for a fellowship meal at Oak Hills Church following services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family invites you to leave a message or memory at www.porterloring.com by selecting Visitation and Services.
