LYNELLEN D. S. PERRY

August 6, 1971 - February 4, 2024

Lynellen D. S. Perry

PERRY

Lynellen Perry, 52, of northern Virginia, passed away on 14 February 2024 following a long fight with cancer. She was proceeded by her mother Linda Perry. The surviving family are Dennis Perry (father) and Elizabeth Maddrey (sister) with her husband Timothy and their children.

At a young age, Lynellen chose to accept the free gift of forgiveness of sins offered by Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection paid for our sins and provided the power to change our souls.

Lynellen was a lifelong learner, earning a BS in math and computer science, a master's in software systems engineering, and a PhD in computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence face recognition. She empowered hundreds of people to change their lives via education and skill-building.

She enjoyed reading science fiction and creating art in several media, including pottery, drawing, painting, sewing, and art quilting.

The family will hold a private service at a future date when Lynellen's cremains will be interred alongside her mother in The Coker Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Central Union Mission (https://www.missiondc.org/) or your local ministry to veterans or the homeless.

Prepared by the Perry family - September 2024
