Peggy (Gerfers) Blucher, age 82, of San Antonio, died Monday, March 26, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of San Antonio. Peggy worked as an activity coordinator for various nursing homes in the city, retiring from Morningside Ministries. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Blucher; her parents, Clarence and Edna Mae Gerfers; and her sister, Connie Emmick. She is survived by her four children: daughter Rebecca Leader and her husband, Bill of San Antonio; sons, Bob Blucher and his wife Delana of Magnolia, Texas, George Blucher and his wife Susie of San Antonio, and Rick Blucher of San Antonio; three granddaughters, Lauren Willett, Kayla Beyer and Paige Blucher; three grandsons, Chris Leader, Garrett Blucher and Ethan Blucher; three greatgrandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Scyrkels and husband Bill; brother, Butch Gerfers and his wife Nancy; and brother-in-law, Robert Emmick.

Visitation will be held at Porter Loring North on Monday, April 2, 2018, at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Peggy will be in-state, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

TUESDAY, APRIL 3, 2018
4:00 P.M.
COKER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
231 E. NORTH LOOP ROAD
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

Interment in Coker Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her 3 sons and 3 grandsons. For those who desire, Memorial Contributions may be made to Coker Cemetery Association or Morningside Ministries.
