CAMP

Sharon Lee Camp, age 53, of San Antonio, passed away September 27, 1994 after a courageous fight and lengthy battle. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, Sharon was a member of the first graduating class of Robert E. Lee High School and was a graduate of Incarnate Word College. Despite a physical challenge, Sharon successfully retired after 20 years service to Northside I.S.D. as both a classroom teacher and an elementary school librarian. She was a member of the Questor’s Class of Coker Methodist Church. After retirement, Sharon served as a Blue Bird Volunteer at Methodist Hospital and at Boysville Thrift Shop for the Boysville Auxiliary. She continued her work with children by volunteering at Trinity Methodist Day Care. Sharon was a member of Coker Methodist Church since she was a young girl and is a direct descendent of Joseph Coker. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Lee Camp and her twin brother, Farron Lee Camp. She is survived by her loving and dedicated mother, Lahoma Camp; a nephew, Russell Clay Camp; a niece, Karen Nancy Babbitt; and her sister-in-law, Nancy W. Camp, all of San Antonio. She also leaves behind many loving relatives.
