Mr. Joseph Clarence Coker, age 49, of 306 W. Malone died Wednesday in Uvalde, Texas. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Marion Coker; sons, Joseph C. Coker, Jr. Tacoma, Wash., and John Hugh Coker, San Antonio. Brothers, J. Monroe, J.W., A.E., and A.F. Coker all of San Antonio; sisters, Mrs. Guy Chambers, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Arthur DeKunder, Atkins, Tex., Mrs. J.H. DeKunder, San Antonio, Mrs. J.O. McClary, San Antonio and Mrs. D.L. Lynch, San Antonio; mother, Mrs. Fannie Coker; San Antonio. grandson, Joseph Coker III, Tacoma, Wash. Funeral services Friday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m., from Akers Funeral Home. Brother Bill Guild officiating. Interment in the Coker Cemetery. Arrangements by Roy Akers.
