Kay Garwood Fennell

FENNELL

Kay Garwood Fennell lost her hard fought battle with cancer on Friday, April 1, 2011. She was born January 6, 1949 in Temple, TX. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Rusty" Fennell; her mother, Hazel Garwood; her sister, Linda Nash; nieces, Ida Ashley, Sally Vail and nephew, Stephen Nash. Kay was a longtime member of Coker United Methodist Church and a devout Christian. Kay spent her early years in the banking industry and went to work for Marriott in the early nineties. She served as the Director of Purchasing for Food and Beverage and was truly loved by her staff and associates. She held everyone around her very dear and considered her staff as family. Kay's true love in life was cooking and table presentation. She excelled in every dish she prepared.
