B. G. Garwood, age 64 of Route 10, Box 80D, died Monday at a local hospital. He was a member of the Coker Methodist Church and Davy Crockett Lodge No. 1225 AF&AM. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Hazel Garwood; son, Bennett G. Garwood, Jr., daughters, Mrs. S.T. (Linda) Nash, Mrs. M.R. (Kay) Dyer; brothers, Roy Garwood, all of San Antonio. Robert Garwood, Corpus Christi; sister, Mrs. Gertrude Leary, Laredo, Tex.; 2 grandchildren. Graveside service Wednesday at 10 o’ clock at Coker Cemetery, the Rev. G. Robert Grimes officiating.
