Mr. Leslie G. Jones, 63, 347 Gazel St., died January 21st. Life resident of San Antonio, member of the Methodist Church, Musicians Union Local No. 23, Printers Union Local No. 33, 41-year member of Elks BPOE, No. 216, San Antonio Llino Club and San Antonio Press Club. Survivors Son, Jack A. Jones, Dallas, Tex.; daughter, Mrs. Jan Basciano, mother, Mrs. Claudia H. Jones; sisters, Mrs. S. H. (Vivion) Gwyn, Mrs. Clarence (Melba) Schroeder, all of San Antonio; grandson, Scott Jones; granddaughter, Jackie Renee Jones. Services 10 a.m., Saturday Jan. 24th, Roy Akers Funeral Chapels, 515 N. Main Ave., Rev. W. S. Highsmith officiating. Pallbearers: Whitney Ryan, Alva Fritsch, Eddie Bradford, Amos Ayala, Cliff Gilette, Hicky Freeman. Honorary Pallbearers; Virgil Moore, Raul Mendoza, Jesse Olivares, Robert Quintano, Cresencio Silva, Ernest Terrill, Thomas Varaa and all members of the Printers Union No. 33 and Musicians Union No. 23.
