Life resident of San Antonio, member of the Methodist Church, Musicians Union Local No. 23, Printers Union Local No. 33, 41-year member of Elks BPOE, No. 216, San Antonio Llino Club and San Antonio Press Club. Survivors Son, Jack A. Jones, Dallas, Tex.; daughter, Mrs. Jan Basciano, mother, Mrs. Claudia H. Jones; sisters, Mrs. S. H. (Vivion) Gwyn, Mrs. Clarence (Melba) Schroeder, all of San Antonio; grandson, Scott Jones; granddaughter, Jackie Renee Jones. Services 10 a.m., Saturday Jan. 24th, Roy Akers Funeral Chapels, 515 N. Main Ave., Rev. W. S. Highsmith officiating. Pallbearers: Whitney Ryan, Alva Fritsch, Eddie Bradford, Amos Ayala, Cliff Gilette, Hicky Freeman.
