Mrs. Lorenna (Wren) Van Landingham Jones, age 61, of 2922 Mayfair, died Saturday, February 12, 1983. She was a member of Coker United Methodist Church. Survivors: Husband, Garland M. Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Jim Ford; son, Douglas Jones, all of Houston, Texas; 2 grandsons; parents, Andrew and Monnie Van Landingham, Great Falls, South Carolina; sisters, Patty Moore, Goshen, Virginia, Teresa Nabers, Falls Church, Virginia. Services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Coker United Methodist Church, the Rev. Gregory Robertson and the Rev. Reginald Hardy officiating. Pallbearers: Tom Garrett, Richard Beck, Bill Couser, John Allen, Arthur Harper, and Jim Reed. Those who desire may send memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
