Chuck went to be with the Lord on Friday December 2, 2022. He was
born to Harold F. and Viola (Gallup) Roberts on May 13, 1930, in Nashua, New Hampshire. He had five siblings. On July 9, 1947, Chuck enlisted in the United States Air Force
where he proudly served 20 years active duty and 10 years Reserve. He retired from
active-duty September 30, 1967, and from the Reserve September 9, 1977.
On October 3, 1950, he married the love of his life Betty (Coker) Roberts in Seguin,
Texas. They had three children, four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck and Betty loved bowling and traveling the United States in their motor home and
spending time with their family and friends. They were members of Universal City United Methodist Church.
Chuck is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, his parents, brothers, sisters and son-in-law.
He is survived by His children Barry (Gloria), Cheryl (Tom, deceased), Linda,
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The Family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Angel’s Senior Home Care and
Mission Hospice for taking great care of our Dad.
A funeral service for Chuck will be held on Saturday December 17, 2022, at Colonial
Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk, Universal City, TX, with visitation starting at 11:00am
and services to start at 12:00 noon, Interment will follow at Coker Cemetery.
