Mrs. Edith Smith Hampton Sharp, 411 Barrera St., born in Henrietta, Texas Jan. 26, 1886, entered rest Saturday Oct. 27, 1973 at the age of 87 years. Memorial services will be held in Alamo Chapels, Monday Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Loren White officiating. Concluding services will follow in Coker Cemetery. Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. G. A. (Winnie) Guly, Mrs. G. A. (Rose) Greener, both of Natalia, Texas, Mrs. A. J. (Letha) Choquette, Austin, Texas, sons, Jess. P. Hampton, Lloyd R. Hampton, both of Houston, Texas, sisters, Mrs. Letha Woolery, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Catherine LeLeux, city 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sharp was a member of Baptist Tempel and has been a resident of San Antonio for the past 71 years. Casket bearers will be Garrett Guly, Jim Choquette, Doug and Bobby Hampton, Paul Ray and Jimmy Wade Hampton. Honorary bearers will be Charles Schaeffer, Gilbert Wade and Tommy Hampton. Services under the direction of The Lelon Cude Family.
