STREMPEL

Gilbert (Buddy) G. Strempel, 77, passed away on September 10, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Buddy was born to Gilbert W. Strempel and Hulda Grimm Strempel in Seguin, Texas on May 1, 1942. Buddy is survived by his daughter, Susan Davis (Michael); grandson, Charles Thweatt (Nati); great-grandchildren, Ariana, Alyssa and Ashlyn Thweatt; sister, Doris Rose (Jesse); sister-in-law, Betty Roberts (Chuck); brother-in-law, Gerald Coker, Sr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Gail Coker Strempel; parents; sister, Dorothy Schuenemann (Clarence); nephew, Dennis Schuenemann; brother-in-law, Alvin F. Coker, Jr. (Jean).

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
