Fay Annette Tomasini (Granny) was a wife, mother, grandmother,
great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and woman of God. She passed away peacefully

Annette was born October 8, 1931 in San Antonio to Leona and Roland Kirchner. She
and her husband, Robert L. Tomasini recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. They were married on September 6, 1952 in San Antonio.

Services will be 11am, Tuesday, September 25 at Bandera First Baptist Church with
Pastor David Collett officiating. Burial will follow at 3pm at Coker Cemetery in San
Antonio.
Her children remember growing up in Hollywood Park, her grandchildren remember
holidays and summer at Lake LBJ, and her great grandchildren remember visiting her
at home in Bandera. Though she lived in several communities over the years, her
belief in God, faith and family were always her foundation.
Annette was the matriarch of the family and enjoyed spending time with each of her
loved ones. She was always welcoming with a warm smile and an extended hand to help
and comfort. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, antiques, crafting, crocheting, Bible
study and community service. She also had a gift of creativity and enjoyed making
beautiful things for everyone around her. At holiday meals the family was always
spoiled with her homemade recipes. While there are too many to list a few that
instantly come to mind are her cinnamon sweet rice and Granny’s fudge. She was a
devoted and active member of the First Baptist Church in Bandera.
There are not enough words to explain the life or achievements she accomplished
during her 86 years. However, she left a lasting impression on all who knew her by
showing us endless compassion and love, her marriage to her husband Bob of 66 years
and her ever steadfast belief and faith in Jesus Christ.
Memorials may be given to the Bandera First Baptist Church Building Fund. The family
of Annette wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all who loved and cared for her.
