MURIEL TOMASINI

ROSEBUD — Services for Muriel Tomasini, 66, of Rosebud, formerly of San Antonio, will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Coker Cemetery in San Antonio with the Rev. Butch Gurfers [Gerfers] officiating.

Mrs. Tomasini died Sunday, Oct. 26, in a Temple hospital.

She was born June 29, 1942, in Sherman to Edward and Ella Fritz Alston. She grew up in Rocksprings, but lived most of her life in San Antonio and Three Rivers, and had lived in Rosebud the past 10 years. She worked as a legal secretary and also as a secretary and teacher’s aide for the Comal Independent School District. She married Jake Tomasini on July 15, 1961. She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Jake Tomasini.

Survivors include her husband; her father, Edward Roy Alston of Lytle; a brother, Anthony Quinn Wristen of Troy; and two sisters, Royella Roessler of Seaton and Gloria Jean Vernor of Barksdale.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Youth Ranch at Brushy Creek, P.O. Box 67, Ingram, 78025-9990.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
